Today some back end improvements were made to improve the UI and overall progression experience of the game. A substantial revision to the XP system has changed how XP is earned and by how much for a faster and more noticeable progression experience. Additionally, interactive Aim UI and additional instructional prompts have been added to better indicate when certain actions such as window repair, reloading, and leveling up is available.
Patch 1.18:
1.14 - Improvement to Cloud Leaderboard (There still seems to be a recent issue with Cloud Variables tracking which is still trying to be resolved)
1.15 - Experience changes and improvements (XP is now earned from zombie kills, window repair, opening new locations, the cabinet, and round completion. The XP has also been rebalanced to be more rewarding and indicate when a level has been reached)
1.16 - Added new reticule with damage indicator (The new aim crosshair will make it easier to determine where the player is aiming along with creating feedback on when enemies have been damaged)
1.17 - Added Reload Text Prompt animation (Text that displays which key functions as Reload has been added with flashing animations synced to the weapon icons. The text will only appear when the weapon is selected with no ammo in the magazine or clip and additional ammo is in reserve)
1.18 - Added Window Rebuild Text Prompt (Text that displays when a window is able to be repaired has been added to better display that an interaction is possible. Originally this was intended to be a feature that was available during release of the project but over concern of text overlapping the feature was removed. To resolve this issue, the window text is static near the bottom middle of the screen while other interaction prompt text is dynamic above the interactions for readability)
